Editor's Letter - Breathe and Stretch
It’s February already and the year is shaping up to be an interesting and exciting one - and very different from 2007. And here at Open things are really moving on.
There are plans ( which I can’t divulge here as all the boxes have to be ticked and signed ) to expand.
The aim has always been to make this the best and most beautiful arts and culture magazine and to create a community of readers and artists.
And, with all my fingers crossed and my breath held it looks like we’re on our way there.
We have always looked at the arts genres along with popular culture as being inter-disciplinary and over-lapping to create a fresh, new and relevant zeitgeist.
And we’ll continue to explore new trends and ideas and how they manifest around us.
For those regular readers, you’ll know that photographer Jim Marks shoots Open’s Fashion. We chat to him about his involvement with TV show Coleen’s Real Women.
And, staying with telly, we look at the trend for food shows, and whether they really are about cooking.
Keep checking back to our events pages, as they will keep you posted on where to go for the best London arts and culture.
Do keep your emails coming.
And if you have any suggestions or feedback on what you love, hate, what you’d like to see on these pages or if you’d like to get involved do email me editor@openmagazine.co.uk
Love
Loma xx
